Dallas, Texas, April 28, 2006  -- The Hero Foundry will be handing out flyers and answering questions about the charity’s formation and plans for the future at both Titan Comics and CAPE! on Free Comic Book Day May 6, 2006.  Brian will be at Titan Comics from 12 noon to 3 pm. while Edward will be at CAPE! from 10 am to 6 pm., with Brian joining him for the remainder of the day.

Additionally The Foundry will begin its Convention Season Sketchbook.  Throughout the convention season Foundry members will be asking many comic book artists and writers, at the conventions attended, for their interpretation of the sketchbook subject.  At the end of the season the book will be auctioned to raise money to further The Hero Foundry’s mission of putting comic books, graphic novels, and similar literature into libraries, schools and hospitals that cannot afford them.

With the back to back release of X-men 3 and Superman Returns, this year’s subject will be Mutants and Supermen.
